Just Breathe

Yokaha Beach, near Ka'ena Point, Oahu, Hawaii with the wording Just BreatheSo, I had great expectations and intentions of updating my blog every other day, preparing my posts and creating graphics ahead of time. And then stuff happened the second week of January.

A lot of clients seemed to need things doing earlier than usual this year, so where I thought I would have a quiet January with a fair bit of spare time to write my 52 Graphic Design Term Comparison posts, I suddenly had a lot of work. Added to that major changes in another business I’m part of, and I totally felt overwhelmed and unable to fulfill this challenge I set myself. (more…)

Tips to help you promote your business

Whether it is business cards, brochures, newspaper ad or website you need to have a clear direction. A creative marketing piece means nothing if it does not convey the right message, targets the right audience or uses the correct medium. Before you start you need to ask some questions:

• What do you want to achieve through your advertising?
• Who are you targeting?
• What message do you want to convey?
• How will you reach your audience?


Welcome to Kaz Talk

Today, we are launching our new blog, “Kaz Talk”, where we will post tips and information that we learn or discover during our day-to-day business exploits. This came about after receiving a hoax email yesterday. We wanted to share the information we learnt with our clients and visitors to our website.

Our posts will not necessarily relate to graphic design or website design; you’ll find those in our resources section. Instead, we’ll post anything we learn that we feel you might also benefit from knowing about. Topics we may cover will include internet or computer related tips, small business information, networking events and trade shows, marketing seminars (or webinars) and interesting video clips.

We’ll even mention new contacts we meet who we think you may benefit from knowing; small business owners, entrepreneurs, consultants and sales reps who may be able to help you achieve your business goals.

We’re actually fairly new to blogging, and will have to learn to make it part of our daily routine, so bear with us, but check back often to see what’s new.
